Under her leadership, Lightning Labs has pioneered the development of the Lightning Network, a second-layer protocol built on top of bitcoin, enabling instant, low-cost transactions.

The NPO Black Women in Blockchain is committed to empowering Black women through comprehensive training, mentorship, networking opportunities, and visibility programs. Their goal is to provide access to capital and resources, nurturing an environment where Black women can thrive, innovate, and lead in emerging tech.


Rena Shah

Rena Shah is the VP of Product and Operations at Trust Machines, where she drives the growth of dApps and products on the Bitcoin network.

With a background in technology and finance, Shah has quickly established herself as a leading voice in the crypto space, focusing on decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain-based solutions. At Trust Machines, she manages products for Leather, a leading Bitcoin Wallet, a decentralized identity, Orange Domains, and a DeFi product in stealth. Previously, she was the Head of Exchange at Binance.US, where she grew the exchange from $30M to $3B in daily trading volume within 18 months. Rena spent time on the commodities side and has a unique background as a drilling engineer. She spent her early career offshore on drilling rigs while spinning up Bitcoin mining pools. Notably, she managed a $300M energy portfolio for the Family Office of the Houston Texans NFL team.


Amanda Fabiano

Amanda Fabiano is Founder of Fabiano Consulting, where she provides strategic expertise to individuals and companies in the rapidly evolving bitcoin mining sector. Leveraging her extensive experience leading strategy and operations in the Bitcoin Mining industry, Amanda helps those navigating the unique challenges of mining from seasoned miners to newcomers to accomplish their goals. Amanda also sits on the board of NASDAQ-listed Terawulf ($WULF). 

Prior to establishing Fabiano Consulting, Fabiano was a founding member of Galaxy Digital’s Mining Business, where she spearheaded the acquisition of a $100 million Helios mining asset, expanded Galaxy’s proprietary mining operations, and facilitated over $400 million worth of miner finance. 

Prior to joining Galaxy, Amanda held the position as Director of Bitcoin Mining at Fidelity Investments, where she led initiatives to expand Fidelity’s mining operations and building bitcoin products.


Hailey Lennon

Hailey Lennon, Esq. is a financial regulatory partner in  Brown Rudnick’s Digital Commerce group, author for Forbes and Bitcoin magazines, and advocate for bitcoin education.

Lennon has a proven track record of guiding clients through the evolving regulatory landscape of cryptocurrency offerings, including handling AML/OFAC compliance, SEC investigations and enforcement actions, as well as facilitating the acquisition and maintenance of state money transmitter licenses, the New York BitLicense, and National Trust and Bank Charters.

Prior to joining Brown Rudnick, Lennon served as regulatory counsel of Coinbase, bitFlyer and Silvergate Bank, where she assisted each company in complying with regulatory requirements,  obtaining pivotal licenses, launching key products, and shaping strategies with respect to SEC.


Cynthia Lummis

US Senator Cynthia Lummis has been an outspoken advocate for bitcoin adoption in the government. 

She has introduced key legislation to further pro-innovation policies including the ‘Financial Innovation Act’ which would create a comprehensive regulatory framework to foster the development of blockchain and crypto technologies and enhance the competitiveness of the United States in the global fintech market.

She has served as a key voice in the Senate promoting education and clarity around bitcoin and crypto, supporting new momentum in the government to understand and responsibly regulate bitcoin. 


Caitlin Long

Founder and CEO of Avanti Bank and Trust, a Wyoming bank formed to serve as a compliant bridge between digital assets and the U.S. dollar payments system, Caitlin Long has driven growth in bitcoin adoption since 2016.

With over two decades of experience in traditional finance, she has been a leading advocate for regulatory clarity and institutional adoption of digital assets, with work focused on bridging the gap between traditional banking and blockchain technology.

In 2017, after a Wyoming law blocked her from donating bitcoin to endow a scholarship for female engineers at the University of Wyoming, she volunteered to help correct the statute.
