10. Hodl Hodl Hodl
Hodl memes are probably the most classic bitcoin memes that exist. For people new to the space: in an old bitcoin forum an early bitcoiner enthusiastically said he was "hodling" instead of holding (going long as an investment). He may have been a little inebriated, but he was right.

With the likes of Elon Musk supporting bitcoin, there has never been a better time to ask “wen moon?
8. Trading Memes 📈
Trading is notoriously brutal: many attempt it, but few make a living off it for long. Trading memes can be brutal — unfortunate results continue to produce great memes. 🙃
7. Red or Blue Pill? 💊
This one is pretty clear cut: bitcoin and the Matrix are a match made in heaven.
6. Peter Schiff
Peter Schiff is probably the biggest bitcoin pessimist; he is also a “gold bug” and a prominent critic of Fed policy. He draws a lot of attention for his hot takes but also because he has some meme-able moments.
5. Pizza Pizza 🍕
One of the first recorded instances of a person using bitcoin as money evolved into a bitcoin holiday and one of its best memes. Laszlo Hanyecz spent 10,000 BTC on Papa John’s pizza. That’s worth around $90 million today. Kind of a bummer for him, but at least he created a holiday.

Bitcoiners are quick, clever, and witty - meaning their gifs are too! Mix in some pop culture and you get some extra creative gifs.
3. We are all Satoshi
Satoshi Nakamoto, the famed and pseudonymous creator bitcoin, left his mark all over bitcoin. Naturally, during the first big bitcoin bull run when bitcoin was getting more mainstream attention, a manhunt ensued, with journalists everywhere trying to crack the case of who Satoshi was.
A Japanese-American man was found named Dorian Satoshi Nakamoto. He was widely thought to be bitcoin’s creator, but denied having anything to do with it. But that didn’t stop him from becoming one of bitcoin’s most touted memes and still in many ways the face of bitcoin.

Dogecoin — its funny, used for charity, and just a wee pupper – he's the goodest boi! Probably should be number 1....
1. Money Printer Go Brrrrrr
For newbies: the Fed creates more money using printers i.e. out of nothing to fund government spending. This leads to wealth inequality and higher asset prices. It also makes for some great memes.
